Our Sleep and Settling Services are designed to provide personalised, evidence-informed support to help your little one (and you) achieve better sleep.


Mamahood’s Packages and Services are designed to meet the needs for you and your family by:

  • Providing individualised support and developmentally appropriate gentle, responsive, and attachment based settling strategies at every stage
  • Offering evidence- based information, education and advice to sleep and settling challenges for both you and your little one
  • Working together with families to develop a customised sleep plan that considers the needs for you, your little one and your family
  • Ensuring a compassionate and experienced approach that supports you and your little one as you gently implement sleep and settling solutions
  • Gentle and attentive support and guidance while keeping in mind the challenges and emotions tied to sleep and settling for you and your little one.

Initial Support Session

Ideal for parents who know some of the basics and just need a confidence boost.

This service is perfect for addressing and troubleshooting common sleep and settling issues and making changes independently.

Multi-session Guidance

$240

Perfect for parents seeking assistance and guidance while navigating sleep challenges.

This service can  assist with sleep changes and implementing age appropriate and evidenced- based, gentle and responsive settling strategies.

Extended Care Package

$495

Useful for ongoing guidance with implementing gentle, responsive hands-on settling strategies and supporting parent’s confidence and needs.

Visits scheduled to address growth spurts and changes in developmental sleep changes and needs.

Initial Support Session

Ideal for parents who know some of the basics and just need a confidence boost.

This service is perfect for addressing and troubleshooting common sleep and settling issues and making changes independently.

Pre-Visit Phone Call (20 minutes):

  • Discuss sleep and settling history and current concerns.
  • Review health history.
  • Identify your sleep goals and needs.


Home Consultation (90 minutes):

  • Scheduled at a day and time that suits you.
  • Detailed discussion covering current sleep and settling concerns or challenges, such as:
    • Short day sleeps.
    • Frequent night waking.
    • Tired cues.
    • Sleep associations.
    • Age-appropriate sleep and feeding needs.
    • Sleep cycles and awake windows.
    • Sleep pressure.
    • Temperament.
    • Age-appropriate gentle settling and resettling solutions.
    • Establishing a consistent sleep and settling routine.
    • Safe sleep recommendations and sleep environment.
    • Use of age-appropriate sleep aids (e.g., wrapping, sleeping bags, comforters, dummies).


Consultation Includes:

  • Working together to explore the individual needs for both you, your baby or toddler, and family.
  • Guidance and education to support your abilities in making changes and implementing gentle and responsive settling strategies independently, with access to text or phone support as needed.
  • Discussing and developing a sleep and settling plan tailored to your family's needs.

Additional Support:

  • Nurturing your emotional wellbeing, supporting you to implement mindfulness and self-care activities.
  • Sharing evidence-based responsive settling strategies, information, education, resource links, advice, tips, and guidance to keep you on track.
  • Referral to other health professionals for further assessment or medical review with GP or Paediatrician if indicated.

Follow-Up Support:

  • 1 week of text or phone support as you make changes.

Multi-Session Guidance

Perfect for parents seeking assistance and guidance while navigating sleep challenges.

This service can assist with sleep challenges, changes and implementing age appropriate and evidenced- based, gentle and responsive settling strategies.

Two Consultations:

  • One 90-minute initial home visit at a time that suits you and your family.
  • One 60-minute follow-up home visit (within 2 weeks of the initial visit) for review of plan, changes, and challenges..

  • Detailed sleep and settling discussion covering current concerns or challenges and topics such as:
    • Short day sleeps.
    • Frequent night waking.
    • Tired cues.

    • Sleep cycles, REM sleep, and awake windows.
    • Age-appropriate gentle settling and resettling sleep strategies.
    • Establishing a consistent sleep and settling routine.
    • Sleep pressure.
    • Sleep environment.
    • Safe sleep recommendations.
    • Use of age-appropriate sleep aids (e.g., wrapping, sleeping bags, comforters, dummies).
